It was my passion for math that made me choose Industrial Engineering, but the activities that I got involved even before entering university that led me to several choices within the university. When I was 15 years old I had the opportunity to study in England in an exchange vacation program and to work as a volunteer in Jequitinhonha Valley. These two experiences showed me the great gap of development that we have around the world and motivated me to make the difference where I was. Thus, within the university I sought to develop myself and contribute in some extracurricular activities. And my passion for Industrial Engineering made that one of these were a scientific research in UCD.
